Despite starting the year with a bad case of bronchitis, I'm still trying to be optimistic about this being a better year than last year. I've set some goals for myself art wise.
1. Producing 20 new illustrations that are original arts
2. Cutting back on my fan arts (sorry peps who follow me for fanarts, but it's time for me to start producing more original stuff)
3. Starting production on a new webcomic, and have it launch by the second half of 2012
Because I'm still not certain about whether I will be going to Japan later this year or not, I cannot make too many plans art wise until I know what's going to happen. These three goals will at least be possible to achieve despite anywhere I am, as I fully intend to continue with working on my art if I go over there, perhaps even more so because I won't have the terrible distractions that I have here over there. For the first month, however, I'll be recouping from this infection, and doing some serious figure study. I may do a bulk post of the best studies at some point, but I'm not certain.
So that's the state of things. I didn't want people to worry about me because of my lapse of journal entries
